Process New Thought

Process New Thought is a school of thought based on the principles of the New Thought movement as influenced by the metaphysical process philosophy of Alfred North Whitehead (1861–1947) and Charles Hartshorne (1897-2000).

According to CSL minister Dr. Tom Sannar, “Process Science of Mind is an idea that has not been fully developed.  There is a Process Philosophy of Alfred Lord Whitehead and a Process Theology of Charles Hartshorne. There are the writings of Alan Anderson and Deb Whitehouse who have been very active in INTA explaining what they call Process New Thought. And there has been criticism of traditional Science of Mind from a Process perspective by Hyatt Carter and a dissertation by Arthur Preston Smith. But no one has developed a full explanation of Process Science of Mind.”

Psychiana Online Digital Library    —-Psychiana was a New Thought denomination created in 1928 by Frank Bruce Robinson (1886–1948), with headquarters in Turnstone Flats, Moscow, Idaho. It began and largely remained a mail-order enterprise, recruiting people through advertising in popular magazines and through direct mail solicitations in the first half of the 20th century. Here the University of Idaho makes most of the materials from this movement available for free online.
